Why is this important?
Coaches are required by USFS to be in compliance in order to coach students who participate in club shows and events, competitions, and test sessions. By making sure the coach you choose has met USFS compliance requirements, you are choosing a coach that has a clean background check, completed Safe Sport training, is a Coach I.C.E. member, has completed the Continuing Education Requirements, has Liability Insuracne, agrees and complies with Code of Ethics & Standards of Professionalism, and is a member in good standing with USFS.
A coach that is in compliance with USFS annual requirements has:
- Completed Safe Sport Training
- Passed a background check
- Coach I.C.E. Member
- Completed Continuing Education Courses
- Is a member in good standing with USFS
- Code of Ethics & Standards of Professionalism
- Liability Insurance
